Mushroom & Chardonnay Pasta Sauce

Fresh mushrooms, sautéed in a Chardonnay that is made in the King Valley.  Herbs have been added to the simmering tomato sauce, before it is sealed in a jar ready to be enjoyed. Serve on your favourite pasta or even spread on the base of your homemade pizza.  Pour over chicken pieces or cutlets and bake in a moderate oven. It goes great with rice or creamy mashed potato. Also serve the sauce warm on top of a crumbed schnitzel topped with mozzarella cheese for a delicious parmigiana.
