Courgette & Basil Pasta Sauce
A little bit fancy, courgette is French for Zucchini. We hand slice & grate our star ingredient, giving our rich tomato sauce texture and body. We like to think the addition of a local chardonnay from the king valley adds the final touch. Serve on your favourite pasta or even spread on the base of your homemade pizza. Pour over chicken pieces or cutlets and bake in a moderate oven. It goes great with rice or creamy mashed potato. Also serve the sauce warm on top of a crumbed schnitzel topped with mozzarella cheese for a delicious parmigiana.
